Walk to School Weeks

Park & Stride!

St. Mary's holds a Walk to School Week every term - please check the School Diary for dates. We ask the children, (with your parental permission of course), to try and either walk from home, car share, cycle, scooter or come on public transport.

We also have an arrangement with Father Benedict at St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Co-Op, who let us use their car parks so you can ‘park and stride’ the last part of the journey if you live too far away. Please try and join in the fun.

Trophy Class / Bear Winners

The class with the highest average in KS1 will look after our Walk to School Bear, and the KS2 class winners will be awarded our termly Walk to School Trophy and earn themselves an extra break! Look out for termly results in our school newsletters.

Thank you for all your support.
