St. Mary's Cooking Club is held weekly on a Monday at 3.30 pm. Mrs Chung is Cooking Club Leader and works with two assistants Mrs Thibault and Mrs Hayward.
The Club is offered to Year 6 pupils, and is a great opportunity for children to learn how to cook.
Pupils learn about kitchen hygiene, health and safety, safe food handling and storage, and of course, how to follow a recipe. Here are just a few of the dishes the children have prepared:
At the end of term, parents are invited to a sit down dining experience to sample some of the dishes prepared by the pupils.
