IMPORTANT INFORMATION for parents looking for a new YEAR 3 placement from September 2021 at St. Mary’s for the academic year 2021/20.
(Note: this message does not apply to parents of children ALREADY in Year 2).
St Mary’s offer four extra places in YEAR 3, and in previous years parents applied for these extra places as they would for a new Reception or a new Year 7 place, via the WCC Admission’s website by the 15th January 2021. However, this is now not the case.
Applications for Year 3s in primary schools. These applications will be processed as if they were ‘In year applications’ and parents will only be allowed to apply for these places for admission to Year 3 in September 21 from the 7th June 2021. These applications have to made online and offers will be made from the 18th June 2021.
Parents in this position and who are hoping for one of these places, or if you know of somebody who is looking for a place in Year 3, are now strongly advised to speak to Mrs McDonnell in the office (on Tuesdays) and make themselves known. She will keep the names on file and will advise and remind parents what to do at the appropriate time as we move through the year.
