Pupils' Targets & Parents' Evenings

Pupils' Personal Targets

Pupils' Personal Targets are issued to all pupils termly. New targets will have been fully explained to them and previous targets will be reviewed with them. There will be a target set for Reading, Writing and Maths. (Some children will have a generic target, for example on homework, concentration, punctuality, etc.)

Targets are set to aid progress; they are specific to your child and have been tailored based on attainment. If achieved, they should help pupils to move forward on their 'learning journey'. Pupils will have ample opportunity to work towards their personal targets in class, although any additional help parents/carers can give at home would be gratefully appreciated.

Parents' Evenings

Pupils' progress will be monitored and parents will receive termly reports on their child's learning. All parents will be invited to termly Parents' Evenings, please check the School Diary for dates. It is important for parents to discuss their child's progress and this is a great opportunity to meet their class teacher on a one-to-basis and to view their child's work.

Parents' Evenings are held in the Autumn and Spring Terms (usually over two evenings) and a final meeting at the end of the academic year in the Summer Term.
