Modern Foreign Languages

Spanish Language

Children learn best when they enjoy what they are doing so this is our approach to learning Spanish in KS2; the children are led to challenge themselves in a variety of ways in a secure learning environment. We love singing, games, role play and drama as well as stories and rhymes. The children are encouraged to perform in assemblies and show what they can do.

One of our favourite online resources is Babelzone which the children can access at home as well as in school. Please take a look with them and see how fun learning a foreign language can be.

Un saludo

European Day of Languages - October 2013

Mrs Griffith's organised a super assembly to mark the European Day of languages. All the children who could speak a second language (other than Spanish), were invited to say a few words. It was amazing to see how talented they all were.
